Antonia’s 7+ years of experience encompass a wide range of projects, including multi-family, healthcare, commercial, community organization, and modular affordable housing. Passionate about projects that intertwine architecture, environmental and social responsibility with issues of civic and public interest, Antonia approaches her projects from a multidisciplinary perspective.
At bKL, Antonia has worked on a variety of project types, most recently taking part in the development of a 29-story, mixed-use project at 601 N. Central Ave in downtown Phoenix.
Antonia holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in Architecture from IIT, and a master’s degree in Community Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico. Antonia is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois, she is also an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Arquitina, and NCARB. Additionally, Antonia is a part of the Chicago Women in Architecture organization as a Biennial Chair, Muse Chair, and Board Member.
