Sonja Flint AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Originally trained as an artist, Sonja Flint’s love of design led her to engage with both its philosophical and technological underpinnings. Her work explores the conceptual range of architecture and the generative potential of architectural drawing methods with a portfolio of work that focuses on the commercial and residential sector.
A leader in advancing new technologies, Sonja is a resource to colleagues and an organizer of BIM training at the bKL studio. Outside of the office, Sonja is an active member of the Chicago Dynamo Group and the Chicago Philosophy Meetup, and is a frequent volunteer at student reviews for many local universities. She is fluent in Macedonian and English.
Sonja received a degree in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles and a Master of Science degree in Architecture, with focus on design research, from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, USGBC, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and Architects Without Borders. Sonja is licensed in the State of Illinois.
